Scripture teaches that the local church should be the priority. So when you give Kossuth an offering, you are investing in the “mutual fund” of investments that our church makes. This investing is also true when you give your time to pray for and assist the Kossuth’s ministries and partners.

It’s not every day you get to read someone else’s email, but I’ll give you access to one of mine. It was a recent exchange regarding our proposed building revamp and specifically the notion and expense of the project that includes retrofitting an elevator into our building.

God calls us as his church to life-changing gospel ministry in the context of deepening relationships. God designed relationships as the bridge on which the gospel travels. Revamping our building must serve that purpose and help us gather, grow, and scatter as a church family. But how?

Jesus doesn’t call men, women, and children to himself and then keep them at arm’s length. He wants to be with his disciples and a true disciple wants to be with him. This means that a disciple not only orbits his or her life around Jesus but does so in a relational way full of love and devotion to him.
