Hello Kossuth family,
This summer, we have great ways to show our faith by helping orphans and vulnerable kids. Our focus is on "wrap-around care." This means we support these kids and their caregivers with love, just like God loves us.
1. Support Glori and Emma Grace at Bethesda Outreach
First, let's support Glori and Emma Grace, two college students from our church. They are spending their summer at Bethesda Outreach in South Africa. This place helps orphans, and our church has helped them for many years. Glori and Emma Grace will be working hard there, and they need our prayers and money. Let's support them as they help others.
2. Join the Fostering at Kossuth Class
Next, come to our "Fostering at Kossuth Class" on the next three Sundays at 9:15 AM. We will read and talk about the book Until There’s More Than Enough by Jason Weber. This class will teach us how to help in foster care. You can help by becoming a foster parent, taking kids to their appointments, or even just sending a kind message. Sometimes, kids live with their grandparents when their parents can't take care of them. If you want to help kids who need it, please come to the class.
3. Help at Foster Family Friday Event
Last, we need volunteers for our Foster Family Friday on June 14th. We want to give foster parents a break for a few hours. You can help by spending time and having fun with some amazing kids.
We want to be a church family that helps each other. Join in, pray, come to classes, or volunteer. Your help makes a big difference. Let's work together to give love and support to these children and their caregivers.
