Women's Canoe & Kayak Trip
Ladies 12 and older are invited to our 3rd annual canoe and kayak potluck on Sunday, July 26th!
Boating | 4 p.m.
Arrive at Ray's Canoes at 4 p.m. to pay for your boat and start paddling! Kayak reservations are recommended over canoes since they require less balance, have better back support, are less effected by low water levels, and have almost no chance of tipping. Canoe reservations will need to be canceled if the river is too low. Ladies who do not wish to go boating are still welcome to arrive at 4:00 for fellowship.
Potluck Dinner | 6 p.m.
We will gather for a potluck taco meal at 6 p.m. Taco meat is provided, but please bring a side dish or dessert to share. We also recommend bringing a lawn chair and your own beverage (water is provided). After dinner and fellowship, the evening will conclude with singing and testimonies.
Cost
Kayak: $35
Canoe $35 (half with partner)
The boat fee includes the bus ride to the drop-in point, a life jacket, and a paddle. Payment can be made via cash or card. There is a 3% charge on cards.

If you’d like to carpool from Kossuth to the river location, we will leave the church at 3:15 p.m.
