Year-End Offering

December 1, 2024

Dear Kossuth Friends and Family,

As we approach Christmas, we are reminded of God’s abundant grace in sending His Son. This is a time to reflect on His generosity and partner to advance the gospel. Our Year-End Offering is an opportunity to join in that work by meeting the specific needs of our ministry partners.

This year, our theme is hospitality—an expression of love that reflects God’s welcoming heart. The Bible calls us to love others (Romans 12:13) and to show kindness to strangers (Hebrews 13:2). God demonstrated the ultimate hospitality by welcoming us into His family through Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:19). Hospitality is not only about opening our homes to nearby friends. It is about opening our lives to serve others, sacrificing for strangers and those far off because of Christ.

Our Year-End Offering reflects this heart of biblical hospitality. We will meet real needs together, creating opportunities to serve and connect. The Richners’ vehicle in Brazil helps Randy share with many churches and communities. Restoring the Pattons’ coffee equipment allows them to continue building gospel relationships. Sarah Menefee's home is her ministry venue of hospitality to the sojourner. Each initiative shows God’s love by meeting physical and spiritual needs.

Here’s how your giving will be used:

1. A New Vehicle for the Richner Family in Brazil. Randy’s ministry covers many churches and communities, so reliable transportation is essential.

2. Rebuilding the Patton Family’s Coffee Processing Equipment. We will help replace the equipment that was destroyed in a flood. This business supports the Patton family's gospel-centered outreach.

3. Hospitality Support for Sarah Menefee. Sarah’s open home equips herself and many of us to show God’s love to the nations among us.

Our Giving Goal: $30,000. Any amount over this goal will go toward a 2026 mission work trip to Brazil. This trip will deepen our connection to the Richners’ work—more details to come.

Please consider how you can contribute. Every dollar given supports these projects, helping us show God’s love to others. You can give in the following ways:

Online: Visit https://ksbc.churchcenter.com/giving or use the Church Center app.

Check: Write “YEO” in the memo line and drop it in the offering box or mail it to the church office.

Thank you for your generosity and for partnering with us on this work. Together, we can show Christ's hospitality and celebrate the joy of giving as we remember God’s greatest gift: Jesus Christ.
