Serving
Want an opportunity to serve at KSBC? Look no further. Whether you'd like to help with kids, international students, local senior centers, or a more behind-the-scenes role, there's something here for you.
Time-Sensitive Opportunities
Midweek Children's Ministry
Kossuth's midweek children's ministry kicks off on October 2! Would you consider helping? Midweek is a valuable opportunity to partner with our Kossuth families in the discipleship of our children and is also a gospel outreach opportunity to neighborhood families and friends. Contact Will Peycke (wpeycke@ksbc.net) below if you have questions or are interested in serving.
Ongoing Opportunities
Tech Team
If you are willing to learn how to operate some of the systems, such as computer operations, sound, network, etc., and you are teachable, we are looking for volunteers. Email our tech team below.
Senior Adult Services
Join members of Kossuth in serving the residents of The Springs and Cumberland Points assisted living homes! Help is needed to lead worship and engage with residents throughout the year! For more info, contact Seth Griffin below.
Worship Team
KSBC is blessed to have many members who are skilled musicians! We have a rotating team dedicated to leading in musical worship every Sunday morning. If you have a heart for using your musical talents to worship with and encourage your fellow church members, let us know!
Nursery Help
Our wee little ones' classes are growing rapidly, and we need your help to keep up! We're looking for additional volunteers during both Connection Hour and Service. Please email our team below if you can serve during this time. Your assistance is greatly needed and appreciated.
Children's Ministry
It’s easy for children’s ministry to feel more like childcare, but not here! We value children and their faith because Jesus does. As a result, we see children’s ministry as vital evangelism and discipleship ministry that invests in children as the present and future of the church. Come join the team!
Youth Group
Do you remember what it felt like to be a teenager? Chances are, someone older came alongside you, cared about you, and encouraged you to follow Jesus. Now you can love and serve the teens in our church family in the same way. Have questions about what this looks like? Let's talk!
Ladies' Ministry
KSBC’s Women@Kossuth team is actively seeking volunteers to serve through event planning, set-up/clean-up, hosting events, hosting Bible studies and praying for each other. If any of those interest you or you have a different service suggestion, please let us know by emailing us below.
Men's Ministry
Serving in the Men’s Ministry is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact while growing in your faith. As a volunteer, you’ll engage in activities designed to build strong, supportive relationships among men, encourage spiritual growth, and foster Christ-like leadership. Whether you’re leading a discussion, organizing events, or mentoring others, your service helps cultivate a vibrant community where men come alongside one another and support each other’s journeys. Join us in this rewarding ministry and be a part of a dynamic team dedicated to empowering each other and making a difference in our church and beyond.
