College Ministry
Salt and Light Christian Fellowship (SLCF) is the college ministry of Kossuth Street Baptist Church in Lafayette, Indiana. We reach out to students at Purdue University in West Lafayette.
Our purpose is to see students reconciled to their Creator through Jesus Christ, growing in holiness to become like Christ, and becoming an active part of a local church.
If you're an international student or scholar, we have special opportunities just for you through Salt & Light International, which is a student organization on the campus of Purdue University that provides many ways to make friends, attend cultural activities, experience cultural travel, and learn about life in America.
Weekly Meetings
Join us Friday Nights during the semester for "4G", our large group meeting. We connect together at 7pm on campus (at Crosswalk Commons, 925 Hilltop Drive) for worship, prayer, teaching, and sharing. This is an opportunity to encourage one another to be disciples who make disciples and fuel us for ministry. Check out the calendar below for the date of our next meeting!
Van Rides
On Sunday mornings when fall or spring classes are in session, we offer van rides from campus to the church. The van will stop outside the front entrance to each residence hall listed below. If your residence hall is not listed, please board at the nearest dorm listed on the schedule. The van will drop you off just before our 9:15 am Connection Hour (adult Sunday school classes). After this class (10:30 am), the worship service will begin. We will drop you off at campus after the service at church (usually, this means you’d be back at your dorm before 12:15 pm).

Note: If you're planning to ride the van for the first time, please email slcf@ksbc.net so the driver knows to pick you up.
PODs
PODs are groups of people (3 students with one church adult member) coming together for Bible study, accountability, fellowship and mentoring. This is an opportunity to grow in your walk with God while being helped by someone who has a mature walk with God themselves. A POD is a safe place to grow in your faith.
