God has a lot to say about our resources and giving. It is an important part of our Christian walk. But what is a proper view? How does the gospel of Jesus Christ impact the use of our resources? God defines wealth not by how much we get but by how much we give. He invites us into contentment that leads to joyful generosity for his glory.

Church discipline is a critical part of Church life – functioning as the body of believers. Discipline, in general, is to create habits and form values. Church discipline aims at sharing in God’s holiness. We do that through training and correcting: training for godliness and holding one another accountable in love.

Abraham Cremens

March 8, 2020

We shape our identity in a variety of ways within everyday life, and it often is based on what we do. That is not the way that God defines us, though. God shapes our identity based on what he has done for us in Jesus Christ. He made his people what they are, and our identity is completely wrapped up in Christ’s work. As a church family, then, let’s clarify who we are by looking again at the person and work of Jesus Christ.
