How to Read the Bible for All its Worth is a class designed to help the lay person get the most out of studying their Bible. Since the Bible was written within the context of a different time, culture, language, and so many other factors, we need some tools to help us dig in a little deeper. There are principles and guidelines for each genre of Scripture that we can use to allow us to first understand what the original audience understood when they read the words written to them (exegesis) and then apply the text to our lives (hermeneutics).
