Celebrating God’s Work Through Your Generosity + Missions at Kossuth Class

The Year-End Offering (YEO) was not just about fundraising—it was an opportunity for us as a church to excel in the grace of giving, just as Paul encouraged the Corinthians:

📖 “See that you excel in this act of grace also.” – 2 Corinthians 8:7

Your generosity this Christmas was an overflow of God’s grace at work in our church. We want to celebrate how God uses these gifts to strengthen missionaries, equip ministry, and advance the gospel where it is not yet known!

Where Your Gifts Are Making a Difference

Through God’s provision and your generosity, the Year-End Offering raised over $36,000 to meet the needs of our missionaries and furth

er the gospel!

✅ $15,000 – A New Vehicle for the Richner Family in Brazil 🚗

•Randy’s ministry covers many churches and communities—his ability to travel is crucial to gospel work. Your generosity has provided reliable transportation, ensuring he can continue ministering to pastors and churches across Brazil.

✅ $10,000 – Rebuilding Coffee Processing Equipment ☕

•After a devastating flood, one of our missionary families lost essential equipment for their coffee business, which helps them build gospel relationships. Your giving is restoring their ability to work and witness for Christ.

✅ $5,000 – Hospitality Support for Sarah Menefee 🏡

•Sarah’s home is a ministry, where she welcomes international students and others into gospel-centered hospitality. These funds will help improve her space, making it more effective for outreach.

🌍 Beyond the Goal: Work Trip to Brazil This Fall

Because of your generosity, the extra $6,411 raised above our goal will be set aside for a mission work trip to Brazil later this year. This trip will allow members of our church to connect with the Richners’ ministry firsthand and serve alongside them.

🛠️ Want to Join the Brazil Work Trip?

• When: Fall 2025 – Exact dates TBD (last two weeks of October or first week of November)

• What: A week of service, supporting the Richners’ ministry with hands-on projects

🙌 Thank you for your faithfulness in giving!

Excelling in the Grace of Giving

Your generosity in the Year-End Offering reflects biblical principles of giving from 2 Corinthians 8-9:

📖 “For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you by his poverty might become rich.” – 2 Corinthians 8:9

• We give because Christ first gave to us. Our generosity is a testimony that we treasure Christ more than wealth and trust in God’s provision, not our possessions.

• Our giving unites us with believers around the world. Just as the Corinthians supported the Jerusalem church, our giving strengthens partners like the Richners, the coffee-processing family, and Sarah Menefee.

• Through giving, we participate in God’s mission. This is not just financial support but a partnership in the gospel (Philippians 1:5).
