College Ministry at Purdue

You don't need to know anyone, dress a certain way, or have anything figured out. Come as you are.

If you're a student at Purdue, there's a place for you here. Salt & Light Christian Fellowship is the college ministry of Kossuth Street Baptist Church — a community of students from across West Lafayette and around the world who gather to worship, study the Bible together, and follow Jesus through one of the most formative seasons of life.

When and where we meet

Sunday Worship

10:30 a.m. · Kossuth Street Baptist Church, 2901 Kossuth St, Lafayette
Connection Hour classes begin at 9:15 a.m.

Light Night (On Campus Worship)

7:00 p.m. Sunday · Crosswalk Commons, 925 Hilltop Dr, West Lafayette
Singing, teaching, and time together. This is the easiest place to start.

Bible Studies

Throughout the week, on campus and around the community. This semester we're working through Philippians.

Need a ride to church?

Kossuth Street is about 15 minutes from campus, and we run rides to Sunday worship from campus and nearby apartments every week. No car, no problem.

Pickups run from Rankin Parking Lot near the COREC. Reach out to the rides GroupMe, and we'll make sure you have a seat.

For international students

Our purpose is engaging all nations in the Purdue community with the gospel. If you're new to the United States — or new to church entirely — you are genuinely welcome here. Many of our students are international, and we'd love to help you find community, practice English, and share a meal.

What we believe

Kossuth Street Baptist Church is an independent, elder-led evangelical Baptist church committed to glorifying God by leading people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. You can read our full statement of faith on our What We Believe page.
