This is a Well-Baby nursery.  There should not be any sick children brought to the nursery or sick nursery caregivers working in the nursery.  Signs of illness include:

• Unusual fatigue or irritability
• Runny nose (thick green/yellow mucus)
• Cough that is deep or congested and sneezing
• Fever (should be gone for 24 hours)
• Questionable rash
• Diarrhea or vomiting
• Active Chicken Pox
• Measles
• Mumps
• Impetigo
• Conjunctivitis
• If a child is being treated with antibiotics, they should be on the medicine for at least 24 hours before coming to the nursery.

If you have a question about whether your child should be in the nursery, please talk to the nursery coordinator.  We will page the parent and request the child be taken home if any of these symptoms appear while in the nursery.  If a child has a continually runny nose or rash due to non-contagious allergies, please let us know.
